Of course there's the granddaddy of all dulcimer festivals is the ODPC Funfest (Evart), but there are also other great events. Most of these include other instruments as well as dulcimers, but the list is dedicated to those events primarily for dulcimers. Here is a partial list of the ones most folks in our area are interested in. You might find that the event is over, but the information is being kept in place so you'll be able to check about it for next year.

22nd Annual Midland Folk Music Festival - August 27 - August 30, 2015Location: Midland County Fairgrounds (6905 Eastman Rd., Midland, MI)- Until 2010, this festival was called the Midland Dulcimer Festival.

Walnut Valley Festival -- Winfield, Kansas - September - This is the place where the competitions take place for the National Champions in Hammered and Mountain Dulcimer, Autoharp, Old Time Fiddle, Finger Pick and Flat Pick Guitar, Mandolin, and Banjo.
