dulcimers.com is Michigan-based, therefore this site accents the
hammered dulcimer (which is more popular in Michigan than
in any other state.) Here you'll find listings of events such as
the Evart (MI) hammered dulcimer festival (also known as the ODPC
Funfest) and the Midland Dulcimer Festival. We want the world to
know about Michigan's music events. Of course, we also include links
to folks and festivals in other states, but the "accent" is on Michigan.
We think of this site as a gift to the music community and want it to be commercial-free; therefore, we have created a second site: http://dulcimers.biz where you can shop for a hammered dulcimer. It even includes a classified section where you can list your own re-sale music items.

Comments welcome! Please keep us posted on all up-coming events, activities, festivals, etc.
The information on these pages is provided by
Sharon and John Skaryd, the "dulcimers.com" hosts.
(Sharon does the web work - while John plays
the music.)
The tunes that you hear playing are all original tunes
written recently by folks who attend the Michigan Festivals. They are available in the
"printable tunes" area of this site (see the menu at the top under "Music"). Check the name below and then find the printout of the music.
Click (reload) Here
for New Tune and Picture or on the player to pause or stop the music.
